The Brazilian families

Warmth, affection, coziness, fights, intrigues, confusion and lots and lots of love. I would say that these are also some of the most common characteristics of Brazilian families.
To think of the Brazilian family is to think of Sunday lunch with the kitchen full of aunts and grandmother. The living room with uncles and grandfather watching television, and the cousins playing on the porch.
To think of the Brazilian family is to think of the family June’s Party. The June’s Party is the second largest celebration held by Brazilians. The decoration is made with banners, bonfires and fireworks. Brazilian families build the bonfire, put on some music and dance quadrille. The quadrille is a collective folkloric dance style. Furthermore, I could not fail to mention one of the best things: the typical foods, which are diverse, such as hot dogs, sausages, hominy, green broth, and "apple of love".
To think of the Brazilian family is to think of Christmas. It is a period marked by many traditions such as Christmas decorations, decorating the Christmas tree, as well as holding the Christmas dinner and celebrating Jesus' birthday. Also there is always pavê’s uncle - he is the uncle who thinks he is funny and makes jokes, but in fact it is almost always the opposite. There is also prayer and gift exchange. The next day, barbecue, beer, and joy. However, in the end, fights, gossip and confusion.
Despite the disagreements, to think of the Brazilian family is always to think of understanding, unity, laughter, tears, love, and a photo album.
